KECO brand non-stick ink pans and idler rolls significantly reduce cycle times

St. Louis, Missouri USA (April 1, 2008) MAX, the service and support team of Mark Andy, Inc., is excited to offer another aftermarket program to help customers achieve reduced cycle times in narrow web print applications. KECO brand high-performance non-stick coating technology is available on EZ clean ink pans and traction release idler rolls, resulting in a partnership between MAX and KECO Coatings to offer the Process Improvement Coating Program. This program provides existing equipment owners the opportunity to purchase coated ink pans and idler rolls, customized to their Comco or Mark Andy press.

The Process Improvement Coating Program is a time saving, cost cutting measure for converters. With this program, the converter sends existing, non-coated pans and rolls to MAX for treatment and newly coated pans are returned in a timely manner, allowing the converter to remain in full operation while the press pans are being coated. Within a few weeks, the converter can be fully equipped with a complete, non-stick program. In lieu of sending existing pans and rolls for treatment, converters can request new KECO coated pans and rolls with one phone call to MAX.

Paul Mueller, parts manager for Mark Andy, states, “We believe this partnership with KECO Coatings will provide a value-added solution to improve productivity by reducing clean-up cycle times. Mark Andy and MAX are pleased to partner with a premier supplier like KECO Coatings to provide a higher level of support and solutions to narrow web printing businesses.  Our objective at MAX is to deliver valuable solutions that truly make a printing business productive and profitable.”

The Process Improvement Coating Program is just one of many aftermarket programs offered by MAX. With services ranging from its own line of gear grease and gearbox oil, to retrofits and preventive maintenance offerings, MAX is able to support customers with the knowledge and experience that only an OEM service team can provide.  For additional information on MAX, including the products and services available, call +1.800.700.6275 or visit www.yourfriendinflexo.com.
